The Creedmoor gets its longrange performance reputation from a combination of 140- to 143-grain, high B.C. BAck in the 70s we used to shoot 85gr Sierra hollow point boat tail bullets in our 6mm Rems. Mine is throated long, twisted fast and loaded hot but I'm able to sling 95gr SMKs at 3200fps from a 22 inch tube with H4350.
